When health is not just about “medication” but truly about “the way we live,” Wellness We care Center, under MEGA We care, hosted the “Good Health by Yourself” camp on August 2–3, 2025. The program delivered essential knowledge and practical skills in Lifestyle Medicine to help prevent and reduce the risk of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) through sustainable self-care.
Over two days and one night, participants learned about Lifestyle Medicine. This globally recognized approach plays a vital role in combating chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, and heart disease. The focus was on lifestyle changes to restore health without relying primarily on medication.
The camp offered a comprehensive blend of theory and hands-on experiences, including:
- Eight Key Health Indicators for overall well-being
- Evidence-based health research insights
- Healthy eating patterns for long-term health
- Nutrition label reading skills
- Plant-Based, Whole-Food, Low-Fat cooking workshop
- Sleep hygiene and techniques for better sleep quality
- Exercise for health and rehabilitation
- Yoga, Tai Chi, and mindfulness practices for stress management
- Health-sharing sessions to inspire behavioral change
Every activity reflected the Center’s mission to promote “the power of lifestyle change” for sustainable health – especially in today’s world, where NCDs have become a silent but growing threat in Thailand and globally.
Wellness We care Center operates as a Social Enterprise under MEGA We Care, with a commitment to improving people’s quality of life through sharing knowledge and practical health skills that can be applied in daily living.
