Muak Lek District, Saraburi – Wellness We care Center organized a Health Camp on September 13–14, 2025, in collaboration with the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management and the Faculty of Medicine, Mahasarakham University. The camp was conducted under the Non-Degree Program in “Sustainable Wellness Tourism Management” as part of the New Generation Graduate and High Competency Workforce Development Project, supported by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.
The camp focused on learning and practicing Lifestyle Medicine, a globally recognized approach to holistic health. Participants engaged in academic lectures, hands-on activities, and interactive learning designed to provide real-life experiences that can be applied to everyday life while also contributing to the future development of sustainable wellness tourism.
Program Highlights
- The New Science of Wellness: Understanding Lifestyle Medicine and eight key health indicators
- Plant–Based Nutrition Workshop: Learning plant-based nutrition combined with a healthy cooking competition
- Stress Management: Yoga and mindfulness practices for relaxation and stress relief
- Sleep Hygiene: Principles for building healthy sleep habits
- Office Syndrome Relief Workshop: Massage and stretching techniques to relieve office syndrome
- Mind–Body Balance Activities: Line dance, music in the garden, and experiential sharing sessions
This Health Camp reflects the strong collaboration between academia and the wellness tourism industry in creating a practical model that can be applied to real-world development. It marks an important step toward enhancing the quality of life for Thai society in a sustainable way.
