On June 19-22, 2023, Wellness We care hosted a Cancer Retreat Camp for 4 days and 3 nights for cancer patients and caregivers to prepare for the upcoming changes both physically and mentally to learn and practice health care skills for cancer patients.

In this camp, cancer patients received holistic care for both physical and mental health. They were learning about cancer Rehabilitation with a plant-based diet, including stress management and reduced anxiety with music therapy to help the patient accept what has happened and build up the willpower for themselves again. They also learned about herbs and plants used to treat cancer according to Thai traditional medicine through the demonstration of a food menu that helps boost immunity by the center’s nutritionist. The following cancer retreat camp will be held in November 2023 at the Wellness We care Center, Muak Lek, Saraburi, by Dr. Bow-Pakkawee Nakawiro, Family Medicine Physician, a camp leader.
